Decks
Explore various styles and examples of built decks.
Most decks begin with the customer's vision which can range from a vague to highly detailed idea - or anywhere in between. Some people already know exactly what material they want, while others aren't always sure what their best option is. I will help you choose between the best option - whether it is cedar, hardwood, or PVC - then we will nail down the perfect style and decide how simple or detailed you want your railings to be. If you can dream it, I can build it.
Decks built by Browning Construction start with a homeowner's vision. After that, watch the idea come to life with old school hand-drawings or a simple 3D computer program to iron out every detail. AI Technology can also help create a digital concept.

Wood Decks
Two options when building wood decks are PNW redwood cedar, or hard woods. Cedar can be a lower cost option, but comes with suggested staining and maintenance. Hard woods will typically cost more but can be the most outstanding option that can stun any crowd, while also requiring some level of staining and maintenance.

PVC Decks
PVC, often confused with composite, is considered a premium option. They can be low-maintenance and look good for many years to come with most brands offering a 50 year warranty. They can best survive different elements over the years, and look better than composite materials with more realistic looking wood grains.
Composite decks
Composite decks are a great choice for any homeowners. Their big advantage comes with cost savings, and low yearly maintenance. Many composite are made up of recycled material, and come with an 25+ year warranty.

Railings

Wood Railings
Wood railings are a classic design option. It is suggested to stain instead of paint so Browning Construction makes it easy and has a list of color options from popular brands Penofin and Expert Stain*.
*If you wish to paint the railing, we instead suggest a solid stain by Sherwin Williams that comes in a vast amount of colors. If you want a white wood railing, paint will be considered.

Metal Railings
Metal Railing are sleek and stay timeless for years to come. Choose from many different colors and styles from a reputable brand trusted by Browning Construction.
Examples of metal railings: Glass railing, balusters, and cable railings.
